Rajasthan the land of Maharajas is about the story of warriors, their chivalry, romance, glory and tragedy in fairy tale proportions. The people are happy, full of life and dressed in their traditional colourful attire. The tour covers the largest open- air art gallery – Shekhawati, famous for its painted mansions and frescoes, Jaisalmer – the desert city with a camel ride on the sand dunes, the fortsof Junagarh and Mehrangarh. Cities of Jaipur, Udaipur, Agra and Delhi. Stay at some of the exotic palaces and royal mansions teeming with heritage and hospitality of the region

Day 1: Arrive Delhi.
Upon arrival in Delhi you will be met and transferred to your Delhi hotel for an overnight stay

Day 2: Delhi to Nawalgarh, 265 Km/6 hrs.
Morning sightseeing tour of Lutyen’s New Delhi. Afternoon, drive to the palace hotel Roop Niwas, a beautiful heritage property for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Nawalgarh to Bikaner, 200 Km/4 hrs.
Morning, visit Nawalgarh’s frescos, a Fort with colourful bazaar and numerous havelis. En route to Bikaner visit the exquisite Goenka Haveli.Arrive at Bikaner, one of the three great ‘Desert Kingdoms of Rajasthan’

Day 4: Bikaner to Jaisalmer, 325 Km/7 hrs.
Visit the 16th century Junagarh Fort, Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum and Camel Breeding Farm.Drive to Jaisalmer for a 2 night stay.

Day 5: Jaisalmer.
Visit the Jaisalmer Haveli, Jaisalmer Fort, Jain Temples, Laxminath Temple, Havelis and Gadisar Lake. Afternoon depart on a sand dune excursion to Sam to view the sunset over sand dunes and enjoy a camel ride on the shifting sand dunes

Day 6: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur, 305 Km/6 hrs.
Morning drive to the fortress city of Jodhpur, visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort rising sheer out of a 125 m high rock, perhaps the most majestic of Rajasthan fort. Overnight at Jodhpur

Day 7: Jodhpur to Udaipur, 280 Km/7 hrs.
This morning drive to the romantic city of Udaipur. En route visit the tranquil pilgrimage town of Ranakpur, renowned for some marvellously carved Jain temples. Stay 2 nights in Udaipur.

Day 8: Udaipur.
Morning sightseeing around Udaipur. A kaleidoscope of fairytale palaces, lakes, temples, gardens and narrow lanes.Udaipur is the most romantic city of Rajasthan and an inspiration for poets, painters and writers.

Day 9: Udaipur to Deogarh, 135 Km/3 hrs.
Drive to Deogarh and arrive at Deogarh Mahal, a charming palace of 17th century. Your afternoon is free to explore the colourful village around the palace.

Day 10: Deogarh to Pushkar, 145 Km/4 hrs.
Drive to Pushkar situated around the holy lake with mythological significance. During the afternoon visit the Ghats and watch the pilgrims taking their ritual dip in the lake

Day 11: Pushkar to Jaipur, 140 Km/3 hrs.
Drive to Jaipur for a 2 night stay. The afternoon at leisure to explore Jaipur’s colourful bazaars.Shop for Rajasthani crafts, handlooms and jewellery.

Day 12: Jaipur.
Morning excursion to the Amber Fort. Ride on a colourfully painted elephant like a Maharaja to reach the hilltop Fort. During the afternoon, visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal

Day 13: Jaipur to Agra, 265 Km/7 hrs.
Drive to Agra, en route visit the imperial ruins of Fatehpur Sikri. Overnight in Agra, the seat of imperial Mughal court during the 16th and 17th century.

Day 14: Agra to Delhi, 205 Km/5 hrs.
This morning visit the beautiful monument of love – Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. During the afternoon drive to Delhi. Overnight Delhi.

Day 15: Depart Delhi.
Transfer to the airport to board your onward flight.
