DAYS 1 – 3 Boston – New London, NH (99 mi/160 km)
Just 1.5 hours north of Boston is the southern lakes region of NH. Summer brings band concerts to the common, popular musicals to the Playhouse, festivals,and fairs. Winter activities include skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Enjoy two nights at the charming Inn at Pleasant Lake, a beautiful waterfront property offering spacious rooms, award winning gourmet meals, and access to a wide array of activities such as kayaking, hiking and golf.

All these sights are a short drive from the Inn at Stockbridge, home for the next two nights. DAYS 7 – 9 Stockbridge – Martha’s Vineyard (187 mi/301 km)Â
Drive east to Cape Cod. Passengers and vehicle board the ferry for a 45 minute ride to Martha’s Vineyard. Explore the island’s six independent towns. See the iconic lighthouse on Gay Head, the colorful gingerbread houses in Oak Bluffs and stroll through architecturally elegant Edgartown.Â
On Day 9Â
Take the return ferry to Woods Hole and then it’s just 1.5 hours back to Boston.Â
