Introduction
Canmore lies nestled along the banks of the Bow River, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, approximately an hour and a half drive west of Calgary and just a five minute drive to Banff National Park. A popular year round resort, offering spectacular scenery, Canmore is known for its endless outdoor recreational activities. Summer activities include fishing, golf, cycling, hiking and rock climbing, whilst the winter months are popular for ice climbing, skiing, snowboarding and dog sledding. The Canmore Nordic Centre offers some of the best cross country skiing in the world.

Fly from the UK into Calgary International Airport and take an airport transfer to your property or collect your pre-booked car hire. Canmore is located 106 km west of Calgary, approximately an hour and a half drive.

Winter brings the snow, with January being the coldest month averaging a low of -18°C.
Spring arrives in April, with temperatures averaging between a high of 3°C to 16°C.
In summer the hottest month is July, with an average high of 23°C.
Autumn brings the wonderful fall foliage with temperatures ranging between a low of -1°C and a high of 16°C.
