Arrival in Delhi
Your adventure begins as you arrive in Delhi, the bustling capital of India. After you disembark from your flight, the city's vibrant atmosphere welcomes you. Depending on your arrival time, you might have the opportunity to explore some of Delhi's iconic landmarks. Visit India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers, or the towering Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage site that stands as a testament to the city's rich history. If time permits, dive into the vibrant markets of Chandni Chowk, where the sights, sounds, and smells of spices and street food create a sensory feast. Spend your evening soaking in the energy of the city, perhaps enjoying a delicious dinner at a local restaurant, savouring North Indian delicacies like butter chicken, naan, and biryani.

After a hearty breakfast, your adventure begins early in the morning in Delhi, where you board a flight to Chandigarh. As the plane ascends, you leave behind the hustle and bustle of Delhi, and in just a short time, you touch down in Chandigarh. The fresh morning air and the well-planned greenery of Chandigarh provide a pleasant contrast to the sprawling metropolis you've just left.
Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the airport and set off on a scenic road journey to Manali. The drive, which covers around 300 kilometres, takes you through the winding roads and picturesque landscapes of Himachal Pradesh. As you ascend, the plains give way to lush valleys, and the cool mountain breeze begins to filter through the car windows. The route meanders along the Beas River, with the mighty river guiding your way to the hills. As you approach Manali, nestled at 2,050 metres in the Beas River Valley, the towering pine trees and the snow-capped peaks in the distance welcome you. You can feel the shift in the air's crispness, the freshness that can only be found in the mountains.
Upon arrival in Manali, you check into your cosy hotel, where you can unwind after the day's travel. The evening is yours to relax and soak in the serene atmosphere. At night, just after the dinner you will be introduced to your Tour Marshall and briefed about your itinerary, routes, and challenges. Sat 07 Jun 25: Manali to Jibhi
The morning sun casts a golden hue over the landscape as you set off towards Jibhi, a hidden gem tucked away in the Tirthan Valley. The journey, covering around 100 kilometres, takes you through winding roads that cut through dense forests and along the rushing Tirthan River. As you ascend towards the Jalori Pass, situated at 3,120 metres, the views become even more spectacular. From here, you journey to Kibber, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world at 4,270 metres. The village offers stunning vistas, with the rugged terrain stretching as far as the eye can see. Next, you visit Hikkim, home to the world's highest post office at 4,440 metres. Sending a postcard from this unique location is a moment youll cherish forever, knowing that your words will travel from the roof of the world. Also a visit to Komic village once the highest village on the earth, Your final stop is Langza Village,
where the giant Buddha statue gazes out over the valley, a silent guardian of the region. As the day draws to a close, you return to Kaza, your heart full of the sights and experiences of this extraordinary day.

The route takes you over the Kunzum La Pass at 4,551 metres, a high-altitude pass that offers stunning panoramic views of the Spiti Valley and surrounding peaks. The challenging terrain adds to the thrill of the ride, making it an unforgettable experience. After crossing Kunzum La, you descend into the Lahaul Valley, where the landscape transforms into a more rugged, barren terrain dotted with sparse vegetation. Next, you approach the Chandra River, following its course towards the base of the Bara-lacha La Pass. As you ride through the valley, the stark beauty of the high-altitude desert is captivating. The route continues to Sissu, a picturesque village known for its beautiful waterfalls, before reaching your final destination of the day, Jispa. Jispa, located at 3,200 metres along the banks of the Bhaga River, is a serene village offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Sun 15 Jun 25: Jispa to Leh
Today's journey from Jispa to Leh is one of the most adventurous and scenic parts of your trip. Youll begin by crossing the Baralacha La Pass (4,890 metres), known for its stark, rugged beauty and often snow-covered terrain, even in summer. After Baralacha La, youll pass through the expansive Sarchu Plains, a high-altitude plateau that marks the boundary between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. From Sarchu, the road takes you through another series of thrilling 21 hairpin bends known as the Gata Loops, this time climbing from 4,200 metres to over 4,600 metres. The ascent is challenging, but the views and the sheer excitement of riding through this stretch make it unforgettable. From there, youll climb the NakeeLa Pass (4,739 metres) and Lachulung La Pass (5,065 metres), both of which offer breathtaking views of the barren, otherworldly landscapes of the Trans-Himalayas. Next, youll cross the More Plains, a vast stretch of flat, open land surrounded by towering peaks. The final challenge of the day is the ascent to Tanglang La Pass (5,328 metres), the second-highest motorable pass in the world. The thin air and high altitude make this a demanding but rewarding ride. After descending from Tanglang La, youll enter the Indus Valley and continue on to Leh. Arriving in the evening, youll be greeted by the serene atmosphere of Ladakh's largest town. Settle into your hotel and rest after this long and unforgettable journey.

Today, you will be taken to a wellness resort for an Ayurvedic massage to help your body relax and rejuvenate after completing half of your journey, preparing you for the exciting remainder of the trip. In the late afternoon, you'll have the chance to explore Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest and most impressive monasteries in Ladakh. Located about 19 kilometres from Leh, this stunning complex is often compared to the Potala Palace in Lhasa. Wander through the various levels of the monastery, admiring the intricate murals and the impressive statue of Maitreya Buddha. You will return to your hotel in the evening and have time to stroll through the Leh Market. Browse through local handicrafts, pashmina shawls, and traditional jewellery. Engage with the friendly locals and perhaps pick up a souvenir or two. After dinner, you will be briefed about your itinerary, routes, and challenges for the upcoming ride. Tue 17 Jun 25: Leh to Nubra Valley
The adventure begins as you mount your motorbike and head towards Nubra Valley. The ride takes you over Khardung La, one of the worlds highest motorable passes at 5,359 metres. As you ascend, the scenery transforms, and the thrill of riding through such heights is unmatched. At the top, the panoramic views are breathtaking, making it a perfect spot for a photo session. Descending into Nubra Valley, the landscape changes dramatically from rugged mountains to green oasis. Arriving in Diskit, you can visit the impressive Diskit Monastery, home to a towering Maitreya Buddha statue. Later, a ride to Hunder offers a unique experience of sand dunes and Bactrian camel rides, contrasting sharply with the high-altitude desert around you.

As you arrive, the vast expanse of the lake, changing its hues under the sunlight, is mesmerising. Spend the afternoon walking along the lake shore, taking in the tranquil beauty. As the sun sets, the colours of the lake become even more vibrant, creating a perfect backdrop for your campsite. Overnight stay near Pangong Lake (4,225 metres). Visiting the observatory provides a fascinating insight into astronomical research at high altitudes. The village itself is serene, with the Hanle Monastery adding to its charm. Today, you will be riding on some of the roads which are even higher than the Everest base camp and this journey is a test of endurance and skill, with the extreme altitude presenting a significant challenge. As you ascend, the air becomes thinner and the landscape more stark and awe-inspiring. Reaching Umling La, the sense of achievement is immense, and the views from this height are truly spectacular. After spending some time at the top, taking photos and enjoying the incredible panorama, you will return to Hanle.

The route offers a mix of rugged terrains and stunning landscapes, leading to the tranquil shores of Tsomoriri, situated at 4,522 metres. The lake's pristine blue waters set against the backdrop of snow-capped peaks create a breathtaking scene. Korzok Monastery, located on the western bank, adds a spiritual touch to the setting. Exploring the lake surroundings and interacting with the monks provides a serene and enriching experience.
