Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City
Flights from Gatwick Airport to Ho Chi Minh City Airport Via Singapore Changi Airport
Stay at Sofitel Saigon Plaza for 2 nights
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam and the financial hub of the country. You are picked up from the airport or the drop-off point by our guide and transferred to downtown. Start your tour in the afternoon by visiting the Independence Palace (Former Presidential Palace), which symbolizes Vietnam's victory, peace, and territorial integrity. This place has a glamorous design, hundreds of rooms equipped with luxurious furnishings and decorations, and an enormous and gorgeous exterior space. It is the perfect place for visitors to get away from the heat in Southern Vietnam, enjoy the fresh cool air, and explore one of the most remarkable structures in Ho Chi Minh City. Your next stop is the War Remnants Museum, which has been the most visited museum for many years in Ho Chi Minh City. To learn about the Vietnam War - a war of great political significance in modern world history - many visitors, especially those from the West, have traveled to the museum to find out about how Vietnam could win a resounding victory over the US and the aftermath.
Touring around the downtown to take a look at the central complex with many French architectures, such as The Notre Dame Cathedral, The City Hall, The Municipal Theater, offers you ideal places for photos.
Ben Thanh market is your last stop before returning to the hotel. This market, the iconic symbol of Ho Chi Minh City, is located in the center of downtown, where you can find many interesting items to buy, from fruits, food, clothes, souvenirs, to jewelry. A bustling market in the daytime and a social center after sunset, Ben Thanh Market is an absolute must-see attraction of the most dynamic city of Vietnam

Day 2: Sai Gon - Cu Chi Tunnels
Cu Chi Tunnels of Sai Gon are honored in the TOP 7 most adventurous destinations in Southeast Asia and the TOP 12 most attractive underground wonders in the world. The decades-old tunnel complex resembles a sophisticated hidden maze, where visitors can glimpse the turbulent Vietnamese history as if they are traveling back to wartime. Located about 60 kilometers to the northeast of Ho Chi Minh City, it is an extensive labyrinth of underground tunnels that stretches all the way to the Cambodian border. The Cu Chi Tunnels network was built within 25 years, from 1948, during the war against the French. It served as a means of communication between villages and helped the Vietnamese to evade scouting French soldiers. The tunnel network was extended over an area of 250 kilometers during the Vietnam War. Therefore, it became one of the important parts of the Viet Cong fighting troops' strategy and also a home for thousands of soldiers.
