After breakfast at the hotel proceed to visit Hiriwadunna Village tour.
A tour to Hiriwadunna - a beautiful village shaded on either side by a dry zone shrub forest, with unpaved gravel paths and humble village folk - will give you a chance to witness the environment of a typical Sri Lankan village life.
On completion proceed to visit Polonnaruwa and do a sightseeing tour in Polonnaruwa.
Polonnaruwa Quadrangle complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A walking tour of the complex reveals the impressive ruins of an ancient city and one time capital. The highlights include the Vatadage, a circular relic house with intricate carvings, the Thuparama, a shrine with a reclining Buddha statue, the Gal Potha, an enormous stone slab with ancient inscriptions, and the massive Buddha statues of the Lankatilaka and the theRankoth Vehera stupas.
On completion return back to the hotel & relax. Afternoon proceed to Minneriya national park for a Jeep Safari.
Minneriya National Park is located 182 km away from Colombo in the North Central Plains of Sri Lanka. The major city closest to Minneriya National Park is Polonnaruwa.

Referred by locals as the Eighth Wonder of World, this ancient palace and fortress complex has significant archeological importance and attracts thousands of tourists every year. Sigiriya rock plateau, formed from magma of an extinct volcano, is 200 meters higher than the surrounding jungles.

Sri Lanka has always been renowned for its spices. Over 15 different spices call Sri Lanka home and many of them are traded in the international spice market. Cinnamon especially is endemic to Sri Lanka, and highest quality true cinnamon can be obtained here. The A9 Hwy between Matale and Dambulla is famous for its spice gardens, with over 30 dotted along the road. All offer free tours of their gardens with an English-speaking guide who can explain the merits and health properties of herbs, spices and plants including cocoa, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, coffee, nutmeg, pepper, cardamom, aloe vera, iriweriya and the henna plant.

Kandy is an administrative, commercial, cultural, and educational center and attracts many pilgrims and tourists. The surrounding region produces most of Sri Lanka's tea, as well as rice and other crops. Limestone is quarried, and bricks and tiles are made nearby.

Around dusk you can observe Ritipanna stilt fishing, a fascinating and unique experience that offers a glimpse into the traditional way of life of the Sri Lankan fishermen. They balance themselves on the narrow platform on their stilt, using a long fishing rod that is held between their toes to catch the fish. The stilts can be as tall as 2 meters, and balancing on them is a test of the fishermen's skill and agility.

The street is lined with shops and buildings, and the sidewalks are crowded with people rushing to and fro. Visit Pettah Market, a bustling bazaar that is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the local culture and pick up some souvenirs. Here you can find anything from clothing, spices, jewellery, to street food. In the early, enjoy some leisure time further exploring the city or indulge in some high-end shopping at places like Majestic City, Liberty Plaza, and Odel.
