Itinerary:
Day 1 - Airport to Colombo
Arrive at 12.30pm
Our chauffeur guide and your travel companion during your tour of Sri Lanka will welcome you at the airport. Transfer to accommodation in Colombo and check-in to the hotel. (Approximate drive duration 45 min to 1 hrs)
Colombo is an exciting city where the old and new blend, steeped in tradition and yet modern, with great shopping and dining options.
Zylan Colombo 7 is in a residential neighborhood, close to shops like Odel and House of Fashion, Sakia’s Gallery, the Golf Course, Love Bar (night club) and Prana Lounge (yoga and wellness.
Upon arrival to Colombo, Colombo city walking tour with Marks Forbas. Colombo City Walks is a personalized city walk through the old city of Colombo, an unforgettable experience with your host as you walk through the picturesque streets of Fort and the mayhem of Pettah. It has been over 8 years now, since Mark Forbes, the man behind Colombo City Walks, started to share his love and knowledge enabling guests to spend an evening in beautiful colonial Colombo, submerged in the beauty within the city that just cannot be experienced by whizzing through in a vehicle. Day 2 - Colombo to Ramboda
Today after Breakfast transfer to Ramboda (Approx drive duration 3 to 4 hours)
Depart - We head for the hills, surrounded by tea, waterfalls & hiking trails.
Lunch at Theva Residence.
Continue to Floating Mountain Villa for the night.
Arrive and take in the views followed by afternoon High-Tea Sunset Cocktails – 2 complimentary mini cocktails and then you can use your spirits and they will make cocktails for you and charge for the soft drinks/ingredients.
Special Dinner at Floating Mountain Villa.
Overnight stay at Floating Mountain Villa.

Day 3 - Ramboda to Idalgashinna via Nuwara Eliya
Transfer time : (Approx drive duration 3 hours)
Breakfast – A Floating Breakfast for the couple,
Depending on the weather conditions.
Depart. Drive towards Nuwara Eliya (5,500 feet above seas level), a quaint town, and then start our descent for 1 to 1 ½ hour to Idalgashinna.

Arrive at Idalgashinna
Idal Villa opened in March 2023 and your hosts Darshi and Darshana have given up their Colombo life style to enjoy a rural life. This is a very different concept as they host you in their home. All meals are provided, including afternoon tea, and a hosted drink in the evening.
You will have exclusive access to their home.
Relax and unwind. Afternoon Tea / Hosted Drinks / Dinner
Overnight stay at Idal Villa.

Day 4 -  Sunrise Coffee
Leave to catch the early morning train from Haputale or Ohiya to Idalgashinna. 15 min train journey.
This will give the true experience of a Sri Lankan Lamen waiting for the local train.
Enjoy your Picnic Breakfast at the train Station.
The Hike back to Idal Villa would be a very adventurous journey.
Upon your return, you enjoy a lovely Lunch
Depart to visit Adisham Monastery & Tea Factory
Return to Idal Villa for the night .
Dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 - Idalgashinna to Yala
Transfer: (Approx drive duration 3 to 4 hrs )
Breakfast
Depart to Yala National Park
Kulu Safaris is a pioneer in conservation and glamping in Sri Lanka. They have hosted many wildlife documentaries done by BBC, Nat Geo and Disney.
The afternoon safari would commence at 2:30 pm. ( Only 1 Game drive) Afternoon Yala National Park is a large national park with 5 zones (bigger than Antigua). You have one free game drive included. It is the dry season, so you will find the landscape less lush. Block 1 of the park may be closed to allow the animals to rest and find water without interruption.
Overnight stay at Kulu Safari Camp.

Day 6 - Cinnamon wild Yala
Breakfast
Depart to a different hotel in Yala (Approx drive duration 1 hour)
Cinnamon wild Yala is a quaint boutique experience surrounded by paddy fields and a perfect place to enjoy a wild and rural setting. Cuisine is fabulous.
A full day of relaxing and recovering from a hectic trip. Lunch and Dinner are provided.
Overnight stay at Cinnamon Wild Yala .

Day 7 - Yala to Matara
Transfer: (Approx drive duration 2 to 3 hours)
Depart after breakfast to Galle. Take a walking tour of Galle Fort and then proceed to Matara.
Lunch in Galle
Relax. Dinner
Overnight stay at 3 Sisters .

Day 8 - Departure
After breakfast, Transfer to the airport: (Approx drive duration 3 hours)
