Day 1: Southern India: West to East Coast/ Arrival in Kochi

Arrive in Kochi and check into your hotel. The day is at leisure before an evening welcome meeting. Later, visit the harbour to enjoy sunset views over the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, followed by an optional group dinner.

Day 2: Kochi to Sultan Bathery
This morning, you travel by train through scenic landscapes before continuing by road into the lush hills of Wayanad to reach Sultan Bathery. Enjoy the changing scenery as you journey into this peaceful and green region.

Day 3 Wayanad Exploration
Discover the natural beauty of Wayanad with a guided nature walk through rich forests, home to diverse flora and fauna and farmlands. Visit the ancient Edakkal Caves, known for their fascinating Stone Age carvings, and experience local culture with a visit to a tribal village. Continue to a tea plantation and factory, where you'll stroll through the tea bushes, explore the factory and learn about the art of tea-making while surrounded by rolling green hills, ending with a freshly brewed cup.

Day 4: Sultan Bathery to Mysore
Journey to Mysore, a historic royal city set at the foothills of the Chamundi Hills. Once the capital of a powerful kingdom between 1399 and 1947, Mysore is rich in heritage and charm.

Day 5: Mysore Sightseeing
Explore the grandeur of Mysore Palace, a magnificent symbol of royal splendour. This stunning palace was the home of the Maharajas of Mysore, the former royal family, which ruled from 1399 to 1950. Learn about the rich history of Indian royalty and soak in the splendour of an era long gone. Later, visit the beautiful Chamundeshwari Temple, located on top of Chamundi Hills just outside Mysore. Enjoy its intricate architecture and join the throngs of pilgrims and Nandi the Bull (ridden by the Hindu god Shiva), a short walk
below. Enjoy free time to browse bustling markets, visit local sites, a yoga session or relax at your own pace while soaking in the regal atmosphere of this historic city.

Day 6: Mysore to Mamallapuram
Enjoy a scenic train journey along the east coast to Chennai before continuing by road to Mamallapuram, a charming seaside village known for its ancient UNESCO monuments and coastal beauty.

Day 7: Mamallapuram
Begin the day with a sunrise visit to the stunning Shore Temple, dramatically set against the Bay of Bengal. Explore this impressive group of monuments that were sculpted during the 7th and 8th centuries, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, at sunrise. Of these, the Shore Temple stands out for its stunning views of the Bay of Bengal shore. Made of granite, it's actually a twin-temple dedicated to the Hindu gods, Vishnu and Shiva. Later, enjoy free time to explore beaches, markets, and UNESCO-listed monuments, or simply relax by the sea.

Day 8: Mamallapuram
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before check-out. Depart at any time, taking with you unforgettable memories of Southern India's landscapes, culture, and warm hospitality.
