Tue 09 Sep 25 - Siem Reap: Historical Temple Tour

Visit Wat Thmei, one of the killing field memorials, a small memorial stupa which contains the skulls and bones of victims killed during the regime of the Khmer Rouge during 1975 1979.We continue the tour at Apopo Visitor Center to learn about the history of conflict in Cambodia and the impact the regions landmines has on the local communities. In place to make a difference are whats known as the Hero Rats. Used because of their light weight, the rats have been trained to sniff buried landmines, a huge help in de-mining the region. Watch the rats in action at the helm of their trainers. The day ends with a visit to the Angkor National Museum, an archaeological museum dedicated the collection, preservation and presentation of Angkorian artifacts. The collections are mainly dated from Khmer Empire's Angkor period circa 9th to 14th centuries, with most of the artifacts discovered in and around the Angkor archaeological sites nearby. Afternoon, half of the day explores two highlight temples, Banteay Samre and Banteay Srei. Banteay Samre built under Suryavarman II and Yasovarman II in the early 12th century, it is a Hindu temple in the Angkor Wat style. We follow Banteay Samre with Banteay Srei, one of Angkors most beautiful temples. Built largely of red sandstone, this gem of a temple boasts a pink color and some of the most exquisite depictions.

Wed 10 Sep 25 - Siem Reap: Sunrise, Champagne breakfast and Angkor Tour
➤Wake up in the early hours of the morning and drive through the dark to the Angkor Archaeological Park. Select a good viewpoint at Angkor Wat, sit back and watch the sun rise over the back of the temple. Seeing the temple emerge from darkness to being bathed in early morning light is an unforgettable experience. Once the sun is up, go inside Angkor Wat for a guided tour. Learn about the history of this 12th century monument and how it was constructed. Get up close and see depictions of Hindu mythology and famous battles intricately carved into the walls. Explore chambers filled with depictions of apsara dancers, celestial beings of Hindu mythology. After the exploration have a champagne breakfast fit for ancient royalty. A perfect early morning experience before you head to continue to the popular temple of Ta Prohm which is the modern name of the temple at Angkor, built in the late 12th to early 13th centuries. However, probably more famous for being the location where they filmed the Tomb Raider movie. Follow by ancient capital of Angkor Thom built in the late 12th century before we head onwards to Bayon temple which is unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara. Last stop at South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk and see the ancient capital of Angkor Thom. You will be transfer back to your hotel for own lunch and relax at hotel This afternoon free at your own leisure.

Sat 13 Sep 25 - Mekong Cruise: Peam Chi Korng and Pak Russei Crafts
➤Enjoy morning Tai Chi or just a coffee on deck as we take a sunrise cruise to Peam Chi Korng, an untouched gem that is a hub of pottery in Cambodia. After a short tuk tuk ride from the banks of the Mekong, we witness the local potters in action before continuing to explore the village and local fresh market where you can test your language skills. This afternoon we step ashore at Pak Russei, a small and remote village on the banks of the Mekong. We will explore on foot and visit local craftspeople weaving silk and producing handmade noodles. Before returning to the ship, we learn about the ancient art of Bokator, a traditional form of martial art with a private performance in the village.

Sun 14 Sep 25 - Mekong Cruise: Life on the Tonle Sap River
➤In the morning, travel by coach to the ancient capital of Cambodia, Oudong where we visit the Vipassana Dhura Meditation Centre. Walk around the vast complex with it's impressive Khmer architecture and experience a short meditation class to quieten your mind. Rejoin your ship in Kampong Tralach for lunch abaord. In the afternoon we travel by ox-cart around the river-side villages, markets and temples to get a sense of life in rural Cambodia. In the evening cocktails are served around a fire pit at a small fishing village where we will be joined by village folk keen to share tales and show us their traditional dancing.

Mon 15 Sep 25 - Mekong Cruise: Phnom Penh
➤Morning orientation of Phnom Penh by cyclo visiting the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda followed by the National Museum with its marvelous collection of Angkorian statuary. In the afternoon we visit the Killing Fields and Genocide museum to learn more about the brutal Khmer Rouge regime. We dock overnight in Phnom Penh city port with its lively bars, restaurants and nightlife. Feel free to explore the city before returning to your hotel on the water.

Wed 17 Sep 25 - Mekong Cruise: Chau Doc and the Fertile Waterways
➤In the morning, we take minivans for a short drive to Sam Mountain, the location of Phuoc Dien Tu or the Hang Pagoda. After climbing the steps we are greeted with stunning views across the Mekong. For those not keen on the stairs, explore the local market instead. Afterwards, we visit the nearby floating fish farms by Sampan before being treated to a private Lion dance performance at a local Village. After lunch aboard we continue sailing into the heart of the Mekong delta and enjoy on-deck entertainment from your crew.
Note: During high water periods in October and November, navigation into Chau Doc may be hampered by low bridges meaning today's excursion will be replaced with a local village visit at Long Thuan.

Thu 18 Sep 25 - Mekong Cruise: Ben Tre and Sailing into Saigon
➤In the morning, we journey by sampans through mangroves and bamboo forests to the fruit orchards of Ben Tre. This is a fertile farming region with half of Vietnam's rice production coming from the Mekong Delta. It also hosts a rich artisanal culture which we will witness at a local village specialising in handicrafts. After returning to the ship enjoy lunch onboard as we sail through the Cho Gao Canal toward Saigon. The Cho Gao Canal is a vital waterway link for the transportation of goods to and from the city which was constructed in 1876 by the French and offers a fascinating insight to life along the water. In the evening we sail into central Saigon and enjoy the stunning skyline over dinner.
