Thu 20 Mar 25 - San Jos Tortuguero
➤ Off to an early start from your hotel in San Jos, you drive along a scenic route of lush pasturelands and banana plantations, through the Braulio Carrillo National Park. You stop for a typical Costa Rican breakfast before arriving at the small river harbor. From there you navigate by boat. Let this extraordinarily exotic paradise enchant you, as you travel along the Tortuguero Canals. Enjoy a refreshing cocktail and a delicious lunch, as you will be welcomed at Laguna Lodge. After lunch, you will visit the museum, the beach area, and the small and picturesque town of Tortuguero. You have the possibility to return to the lodge by walking on the beach to arrive just in time for dinner. To your hotel for a two-night stay.

Fri 21 Mar 25 - Tortuguero
➤ Get ready to discover the private trails of the lodge and experience this unique paradise of magnificent flora and fauna. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon and after lunch, you enjoy a boat tour through the quiet backwater canals of the national park, for up-close observation of the flora and fauna that makes this part of the world so unique. Before dinner, enjoy a siesta, relax by the pool, or take a walk on the beach. During the months of July-September/October, an optional guided night hike along the beach is offered, to observe the nesting of the sea turtles.

Sat 22 Mar 25 - Tortuguero La Fortuna
➤ After breakfast, you will embark on the boat around 9 a.m. leaving for Cao Blanco or Pavones. Continue by bus to Gupiles. Right here, you will be picked up by a shuttle bus and taken to La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano. Stay at your hotel for a two-night stay.

Sun 23 Mar 25 - La Fortuna - Arenal Lake Crossing
➤ Today, continue your journey to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Region, crossing Arenal Lake by boat. This transfer service is a scenic and relatively fast way to reach the Monteverde area from La Fortuna. Upon reaching the end of the canyon, the spectacular La Fortuna waterfall awaits us. You will be amazed by the lush vegetation on its 70-meter-high walls, the enormous volcanic rocks at its feet, and the amount of water that falls into its immense pool. After lunch, we will take a 15-minute drive to the park at the foot of the Arenal volcano. We begin on a trail through a primary forest where you can see large trees with huge roots. Looking around, the view improves: Lake Arenal, the jungle, the valley, the lava fields, and above all, Arenal towering over us. To end the tour in the most relaxing way, we will take you to the natural hot springs resort(approximately 2 hours). Around 7 pm, we will take you back to your accommodation.

Mon 24 Mar 25 - Monteverde Cloud Forest Region
➤ Your adventurous day features a "walk in the clouds." Start with your feet on the ground, hiking through the lush forest toward the Selvatura Walkways"; suspended bridges, platforms, and trails leading through the canopy of the cloud forest. From here you can catch a rare glimpse through the tops of giant trees into the parts of this hidden world that would otherwise remain a mystery to most of us. While exploring the different trails, keep your binoculars or camera handy, since you might catch a glimpse of the rare and famous kingbird the Quetzal!

Tue 25 Mar 25 - San Jos
➤ Pick up by the shuttle bus and ride back to San Jos. Once in San Jos, the remainder of the day is yours to do as you wish. You might visit one of the various galleries or museums (optional -entrance fees not included) or just go on a sightseeing tour. Stay at your hotel for a one-night stay.

Wed 26 Mar 25 - Departure
➤ Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
