Sat 25 May 24: Rafting Pacuare River
You will depart from San Jose early in the morning, traveling east towards the Caribbean and crossing the amazing Braulio Carrillo National Park. You will arrive at Caribbean DishResturant for a Tico traditional Costa Rica breakfast and with time to change into clothing for rafting. Then depart for the rafting put-in on the Pacuare River in San Martin. Once there, the professional guides will pack your luggage into dry bags prepare all the rafting equipment, and give you complete safety and paddle instructions. The first-day class III rapids welcome you to the Pacuare Gorge's charm as you raft deep into the heart of the primary rainforest. While your guides prepare a hearty picnic lunch on the riverbank, you will enjoy a walk through the jungle to an enchanting waterfall and pool to swim. Finally, you will arrive at Tropical Rivers Lodge where you can spend the afternoon relaxing, hiking, or soaking in the waterfalls and pools.

Sun 26 May 24: Rafting out Pacuare River
After enjoying the tastiest coffee and a hearty breakfast, you will pack up and guides will prepare the rafts for paddling down the Pacuare past gushing waterfalls, serene pools, and pounding rapids. A snack stop by the riverside lets you explore all the natural beauties. Anadrenaline-packed afternoon running rapids like Upper and Lower Huacas, Cimarron, DosMontanas, and many more. The transportation will be waiting for you at Siquirres town. A hearty hot lunch will be available in the Caribbean Dish Restaurant. Then you will continue to your next destination

Mon 27 May 24: Horseback ride in Pozo
For many years, the Quintana family has been raising horses, and participating actively in horse events throughout the country. During this ride, you will make the most of their knowledge of one of their well-trained horse. The trails and back roads of the Hacienda are the perfect scenery combining pasture, jungle, and rivers for a safe 6-hour ride, according to your experience.

Wed 29 May 24: Mistico Hanging Bridges
The tour begins once you get picked up at your hotel in La Fortuna. This walk is a fun educative option to learn more about the forest and the local environment and enjoy close contact with nature. While walking along the trails, the fascinating world of the tropical forest will open to you. Along these three kilometers of trails, you will be immersed in the diverse fauna and flora of the rainforest, admiring colorful birds and tropical plant species that will be pointed out and explained by your naturalist guide. More than 50 species of birds have been counted in the area.
Schedule: 08:00, 09:00, 10:00, 12:00, 13:00 & 14:00 hrs.
Length: 3.2 km (short version 1.9 km).

This two-hour tour departs from the Hacienda Adventure Center, walking to the first platform where we begin this exciting journey inside a river canyon. It includes several activities like rappelling, rock climbing, canopy, Tarzan swing, via Ferrata, and suspension bridges within the majestic canyon formed by the Ro Blanco. What to bring? Comfortable clothes and closed shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent

Live the best roller coaster experience on individual tube rafts on this river adventure. Enjoy as you bounce and splash for 5 km (3 miles) on class 2 and 3 rapids on this fast, narrow, crystal-clear Black river. There are many quiet pools along the way to appreciate the beautiful tropical scenery. River tube rafts are specially designed with handles and protection bottoms. The guides will accompany you and guarantee your safety. Part of the riverbed adventure includes riding the tame horses from Hacienda Guachipeln along scenic trails and through the forest to reach the river. In the river, there are toilets and changing rooms. When the tubing in the river ends, we will have the opportunity to dry off and change to return to the hotel. What to bring? Quick-drying pants and shirt, rafting shoes, swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and repellent.
