Itinerary:
Tue 08 Oct 2024: Thiruvananthapuram
Upon arrival at Thiruvananthapuram airport, you will be met and transferred to Aquaserene for a 2-night stay.

Wed 09 Oct 2024: Paravur
Day at leisure to relax and enjoy the various facilities at Aquaserene, a resort surrounded by the backwaters on three sides offering a unique pool within a small lagoon, an Ayurvedic center, and accommodation in cottages. The resort offers a serene atmosphere.

Thu 10 Oct 2024: Kochi
Drive to Kochi for a 2-night stay. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Kochi, visit the ancient Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, and St. Francis Church. Enjoy a cultural show showcasing the state's traditional art this evening.

Fri 11 Oct 2024: Kochi
The morning is at leisure to relax by the pool. In the afternoon enjoy a relaxing harbour cruise.

Sat 12 Oct 2024: Periyar
Drive to Periyar via Plantation House at Palai. The scenic drive takes you through green hills with forests and plantations of tea, spices & rubber, amidst streams and waterfalls. Check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon take a boat ride on the lake in the Periyar National Park, a 'Project Tiger' reserve.

Sun 13 Oct 2024: Periyar
In the morning soft trek in the forest full of rare species of birds and mammals including Malabar squirrel, barking deer, mouse deer, Nilgiri langur, and the highly endangered Lion-tailed macaque. In the afternoon visit plantations of tea, cardamom, and pepper.

Mon 14 Oct 2024: Kumarakom
You'll leave just after breakfast, driving back down to the coast and the melodically named town of Kumarakom on the banks of Lake Vembanad. After checking in to your hotel, this evening take a sunset cruise on the lake in a converted rice boat to flute ambiance music.

Tue 15 Oct 2024: Kumarakom
Enjoy the morning at leisure by the pool. Choose from the various options on offer such as Ayurvedic massage, yoga and meditation, country boat expeditions, fishing, swimming, or a cruise to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. In the afternoon pay a visit to a local farm.

Wed 16 Oct 2024: Houseboat
The Kerala backwaters consist of a complex network of lagoons, lakes, and canals and are best experienced while slowly punting down the labyrinth of canals in a traditional thatch-roofed houseboat, known as 'Kettuvallam. Embark on your houseboat, a renovated cargo boat with either one or two bedrooms, a kitchenette, and all modern conveniences. A three-member crew will cater to your comforts and meals. See life on the banks, lush green rice fields, and coconut groves with an occasional temple or church as you cruise through the canals, an experience you will savor for a lifetime.

Thu 17 Oct 2024: Mararikulam
Disembark at the boat jetty and transfer to another boat that takes you back across Lake Vembanad to Puthenangadi. Drive to Marari Beach situated halfway between Cochin and Alleppey. Spend 4 nights at your beach hotel.

Fri 18 Oct 2024: Mararikulam
Mararikulam. All days at leisure, participate in yoga sessions, meditation, Ayurvedic massages, or any other scheduled daily activities at the resort.
Alternatively, just relax by the pool or on the beach.

Mon 21 Oct 2024:
Mararikulam to Kochi. After lunch, drive to Kochi for an overnight stay and any last-minute shopping.
