Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town

Day 2: Private Half-day Cape Peninsula Tour
The tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast, passing through the cosmopolitan suburb of Sea Point and Camps Bay with its glorious views of the Twelve Apostles, part of the Table Mountain range. Continue to the fishing village of Hout Bay, one of Cape Town's best-kept secrets. Here, there is an option to take a short boat trip to Duiker Island (for our own account & time permitting) to view the Cape Fur Seals, which inhabit the island. From here, travel to the Cape Point Nature Reserve to see a variety of wildlife that includes baboons, Reebok, Cape Mountain zebra, bontebok and the elusive eland. The reserve is also one of the world's largest breeding grounds for tortoises, and birdwatchers, too, will find many fine species to observe. The majestic coastline offers drama worthy of being called "Nature's Greatest Show. " You'll be able to see the union of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans (as per legend) and may even feel the brisk wind that is dubbed the "Cape Doctor" for its presumed curative powers.

Day 3: Boulders Beach Penguin Visit

Day 4: Hop on Hop off Cape Town Red Bus - Optional
South Africa's capital combines cosmopolitanism, culture, architecture, and the best of nature. With the hop-on and hop-off ticket, you will be able to make over 30 stops to enjoy some of the most remarkable attractions of the 'Mother City'. Take the Cableway and go up to Table Mountain, where you can enjoy one of the most breathtaking views of Africa's landscapes.

This full-day Big 5 safari experience offers an exciting addition to your Cape Town holiday itinerary. Enjoy a great diversity of wildlife and immerse yourself in the untamed beauty of the Karoo. Aquila’s one-day safari tours are an amazing opportunity for guests to see South Africa’s iconic big five animals, capture stunning wildlife photos, and experience an authentic African game drive safari without travelling far from the city.
