A breathtaking ascent to the pinnacle of Sulphur Mountain for an awe-inspiring 360- degree panorama of sheer mountain majesty. Enjoy the interpretative hiking trails that lead along the ridge of the mountain. After an invigorating hike why not enjoy one of the two excellent restaurants at the summit.
Location/Directions
Departing from the base of Sulphur Mountain, the Banff Gondola is located only 4.5km (2.5 miles) from downtown Banff. A short drive up scenic Mountain Avenue brings you to the Banff Gondola Lower
Terminal and parking area.
Daily Departures (weather permitting)
Passengers should present their vouchers for admission. Due to limited sheltered areas at the summit and the nature of unpredictable weather in the Canadian Rockies, we ask that all guests are dressed appropriately in warm layers. In the event of storms or inclement weather, the Banff Gondola may close down until further notice.

This one-way tour to Jasper from Banff or Lake Louise takes you through some of the most spectacular mountain landscapes in North America. Following the spine of the Canadian Rockies, view a never-ending procession of mammoth mountains, jagged snowy peaks, and numerous glaciers. The entire day is spent in the majesty of Canada's two most famous National Parks, Banff and Jasper. Sightseeing stops along this beautiful highway will include Lake Louise, Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Lake, the Columbia Ice fields, the Weeping Wall, and Athabasca Falls. Your stop at the Columbia Ice field will include admission to the Glacier Explorer and Glacier Skywalk.
Picnic lunch is also included.
Alternate stops will be organized if the scheduled stops are not available due to weather, closures, etc.

Enjoy one of several premier black bear viewing spots in Whistler. Join one of our local professional nature guides and photographers, on your early morning/afternoon or evening wilderness black bear luxury Land Rover off-road scenic excursion. Starting in late April, black bears emerge from hibernation and begin to feed on the new spring growth. Take in the majestic high-elevation panoramic views of the Coastal Mountain Range including waterfalls, glacier lakes alpine old-growth forests, and wetlands. Make certain to keep watch for the black bears, moose, deer, mountain lions, bobcats, and coyotes that call the region home. This adventure will leave you appreciative of our natural world. Avid photographers will find this a prime opportunity to capture stunning images!
*Please Note: Bears are wild animals and therefore we cannot guarantee that every bear-viewing scenic tour will see bears. However, our bear-viewing success is rate high. Minimum of 2 passengers for the tour to operate.

Passengers are restricted to one personal carry-on item (43.5cm x 33cm x 15.5cm - maximum 20lbs or less) & 1 piece of checked luggage (61cm x 61 cm x 114 cm- maximum 50 lbs/22.8 kg) each. 22.5 kg (50 lbs) luggage weight strictly enforced.
