Internationally acclaimed artist Bruce Munro is noted for his
immersive site-specific installations that employ light to evoke
emotional response, often in an outdoor context and on a monumental
scale. His Field of Light, inspired by a trip to Uluru over 30
years ago, is installed in a remote desert area within sight of
majestic Uluru. It is his largest installation to date, with Munro
and his team installing more than 50,000 slender stems crowned with
radiant frosted glass spheres. It is truly a magical sight to
behold.


Sat 18 Feb 23: KATA TJUTA SUNRISE & VALLEY OF THE WINDS
View an outback sunrise at Kata Tjuta and a walk with your Guide to
the Valley of the Winds. Hear fascinating stories of the geology,
history and culture of Kata Tjuta. This incredible formation of
rock domes extends six kilometres into the ground and is the
remains of erosion that began more than 500 million years ago. The
5.4 kms walk to Valley of the Winds takes you down into a timeless
haven within the domes through creek beds.

two stations enroute where you can alight and enjoy a walk through
the rainforest to spectacular lookouts or visit the CSIRO
Interpretive Centre. Enjoy free time in Kuranda Village to explore

the coach for transfer to Rainforestation, which is set in 40

Cairns, and enjoy spectacular views as the train travels through 15
hand cut tunnels and past spectacular waterfalls. Stop at Barron

45.5 metre high speed wavepiercing catamaran to commence a full day
cruise. Travel in air-conditioned comfort to a spacious reef
activity platform moored in protective lagoons at the renowned
Agincourt Reef, on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef. Quicksilver
has facilities to enable both swimmers and non-swimmers to
experience this stunning reef world. Explore the reef from the
comfort of a semi-submersible, the underwater observatory or by
snorkelling. A range of optional activities are available including
up to two dives for certified divers, and novices can experience
the magic of scuba with a qualified dive instructor or an

from your hotel to commence a full day Blue Mountains Deluxe day
tour. The Blue Mountains is a real journey into the heart of a
unique World Heritage Region. The first stop is Calmsley Hill, a
working farm based attraction involved in animal rehabilitation
offering fabulous bush surrounds located near the heart of Sydney.
Arrive early to get up close to a range of native and farmyard
animals including Kangaroos and Koalas while enjoying a light
morning tea. Departing from Calmsley Hill, head to the Blue
Mountains. Visit one of a range of stunning outlooks of the Jamison
Valley with beautiful vistas, where possible away from the crowds.
Continue on to Eaglehawk Lookout for views of the famous Three
Sisters and to learn of the legends behind this famous rock
formation. Head to your lunch venue at the Hydro Majestic Hotel, a
relaxed venue with stunning views and enjoy a 2 course lunch
(beverages can be purchased at own expense). The afternoon is spent
visiting a selection of scenic lookouts. The view from Govett's
Leap is one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. Here the
magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the
cliff. The last stop is the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens to
enjoy the sweeping views and a glass of sparkling wine or orange
juice before travelling back to your hotel.

The legacy of welcoming manuhiri/visitors began almost 200 years
ago when the the people of Te Whakarewarewa were hosting the
country's first manuhiri to our geothermal wonderland. This legacy
continues today as you are welcomed by the descendants of those
original hosts. Be guided through the greenstone, wood carving and
flax weaving schools at the New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts
Institute,
Rotowhio Pa, Kiwi Conservation Centre and Te Whakarewarewa
geothermal valley including Pohutu geyser. Te Puia's world-famous
hangi buffet dinner is served in Pataka Kai Restaurant, Bar and Caf
.
The cultural performance will take place in the beautifully carved
meeting house, Te Aronui a Rua. It will include a pohiri
(traditional welcome), waiata (song), moteatea (traditional chant)
poi and haka. The evening culminates with hot chocolate and steamed
pudding surrounded by steam and the geyser terrace bathed in
coloured light. The minimum duration of Te Po combo is 4.5 hours.
