This wonderful tour takes you hunting for Northern lights with an expert top rated local Northern Lights guide. Our hunt takes you from Akureyri town to the countryside away from the bright city lights so that the Northern Lights can be seen in all their beauty and colours. The local guide will share Icelandic tales during the journey and there is a chance to buy professional photos of your night. You will receive a free retry the next evening if no Northern Lights are seen (provided we a running a group tour the next day). We also include free pick and drop off from Hotels/Guesthouses in Akureyri. Duration : 2 hours to 3 hours

Thu 13 Nov 25: Godafoss and the Forest Lagoon
Join us for a short small group tour to the famous Goafoss Waterfall, one of the most popular tourist destination in North Iceland. On the way back to Akureyri we drive along the coast of Eyjafjordur, one of the longest fjords in Iceland where you can see over the fjord to Akureyri and take a great photo. From there, we stop at the Forest Lagoon, a geothermal spa resort located across from Akureyri. It includes infinity pools with swim-up bars, a sauna and a cold tub and offers great views across the Eyjafjordur fjord. Duration : 4 hours

Goafoss Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. Nicknamed the Waterfall of the Gods due to its history. In the year 1000, orgeir Ljsvetningagoi made Christianity the official religion of Iceland and proceeded with throwing his statues of gods into the waterfall. water falls from a height of 12 meters over a width of 30 meters.
