This morning you may explore the city at leisure including the spiritual centre of the Sikh religion, the Golden Temple complex visitor must remove their shoes, wash their feet and cover their heads with at scarf See the preparation of Langar at Golden Temple - the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion. The Golden Temple sits on a rectangular platform, surrounded by pool of water called the Amrit Sarovar after which the city is named. Jallianwala Bagh the site of the famous massacre that took place in 1919. This afternoon you will take an excursion to Wagha border to witness the famous border closing ceremony

During the afternoon visit the City Palace still houses the erstwhile royal family, Jantar mantar – the Royal Observatory and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) – built for the royal ladies to watch the activities on the market, street below without being observed themselves Evening you will be at Dera Mandawa, the demonstrations are conducted by Shrimati Usha Kumari, the matriarch of Mandawa family. A keen, enthusiastic cook and instructor, her family recipes and patient instructing style have always delighted our guests. With her you get to cook and taste dishes that you will not find easily in modern day Rajasthan Hands on cooking experience in the Zanana Deorhi (Ladies Courtyard) garden of Dera Mandawa, if time permits & guests are inclined, they could have a walk to the food, spice & vegetable market in the pink city before the cooking class accompanied by Mr Sandeep Kasana

Morning visit the Taj Mahal in the morning by sunrise. The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favourite wife Mumtaz Mahal who died in 1631, built one of the world’s most famous buildings the ‘Taj Mahal’, Its perfect proportions and exquisite craftsmanship have been described as ‘ä vision a dream, a poem, and a wonder’. After breakfast you will visit the 16 th century Agra Fort. This commanding red sandstone monument stretches 2.5 kilometres along the banks of River Yamuna, encompasses serene gardens and terrace pavilions, wih striking views providing glimpse of the magnificent Taj Mahal across the river and Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah Afternoon you will enjoy AGRA STREET FOOD WALK A visit to Agra is incomplete without tasting it’s delightful local cuisine. This food walk of Agra will help you taste delicious street food dishes of varied Indian cuisines available from some of the oldest and most reputed food joints in the city. All the food items have been personally tested and are as safe as possible. It is a walking tour of Agra city in which you will visit walk around some non-touristy markets of Agra city and taste some of the best local food dishes. The food served in this food walk is equivalent to one meal plus various snacks served during a duration of 3-4 hours. We visit around 7-9 different food places and taste the authentic local street food of Agra and a full meal for dinner. This food walk can be enjoyed by vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians.
