DAY 1 UK to Toronto, Saturday
Depart the UK by wide-bodied jet to Toronto (not included). On arrival
in Toronto transfer independently to your downtown hotel. You can
be met by our representative and transferred (not included
see options above). Meet with your Tour Director at the hotel, the
remainder of the day is free to explore.

DAY 2 Niagara Falls Excursion, Sunday
This morning you meet your fellow travellers at breakfast before
setting out on a tour of the city. After seeing the provincial parliament
buildings, the waterfront, the imposing CN Tower and lively Chinatown,
you leave
the city and head for the Niagara Peninsula. You pass through the
enchanting Victorian town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and follow the
scenic Niagara Parkway to Niagara Falls. Continental breakfast included.
DAY 3 Toronto to Ottawa, Monday
You leave Toronto and drive east along the shores of Lake Ontario
to Kingston. Here you have an option of enjoying an entertaining
and relaxing Lunch Cruise through the beautiful Admiralty group
of islands. Your route then winds through rolling farmland, following
the rivers and lakes of the Rideau Waterway. Upon arrival in Ottawa,
you enjoy a sightseeing tour of the national capital. Defined by
the Rideau Canal and the government buildings on Parliament Hill,
the city offers many great sights including the public gardens,
the Byward Market and City Hall.

DAY 4 Ottawa to Quebec City, Tuesday
Travel along the scenic Ottawa River to the French-speaking province
of Quebec. You skirt the magnificent Laurentians and follow the
Chemin du Roy Highway past rustic Quebecois villages and historic
shrines to Quebec City. You tour within the walls of the old city
and view the ornate city gates, Lower Town, the Citadel and Battlefields
Park.
Overnight: (2 nights) Sir Auberge Sainte-Foy or Plaza Quebec.

DAY 5 Quebec City, Wednesday
The day is at your leisure. You can enjoy an optional full day excursion
to Tadoussac including 3 hours of whale watching on the St. Lawrence
River at the mouth of the Saguenay River aboard a regular boat or
a Zodiac. Upon return, you will visit the spectacular Montmorency
Falls.

DAY 6 Quebec City to Montreal, Thursday
Travel along the St. Lawrence River in the footsteps of the early
settlers. Upon arrival in Montreal, you tour the second largest
French-speaking city in the world. Touring the downtown area you
view the Olympic Complex, charming Old Montreal, McGill University,
the residential streets of Mount Royal and the bustling shopping
streets.
Overnight: Hotel Lord Berri or La Tour Centre Ville. Continental
breakfast included.
DAY 7 Montreal to Toronto, Friday
Today you pass the historic towns of Cornwall and Morrisburg and
the beautiful Thousand Island region before arriving in Toronto.
Overnight: Days Hotel Toronto Downtown. Continental breakfast included.
DAY 8 Toronto to Calgary, Saturday
Transfer to Toronto Airport for a flight (not included, see options)
over the prairie grain fields of central Canada to Calgary. Upon
arrival in Calgary, make your way to your downtown hotel (not included,
see transfer options). The remainder of the day is at leisure.

DAY 9 Calgary to Banff/Canmore, Sunday
You set out early this morning to tour the sights of Calgary. Admire
such modern and historic landmarks as the Calgary Tower, Fort Calgary
and the skyscrapers of the commercial district. Leaving Calgary
behind you set
your sights on the Rocky Mountains. Experience the majesty of the
mountains as you first travel through the foothills and then enter
Banff National Park. Tour the region around Banff amidst snowcapped
peaks,
sparkling glaciers and emerald green lakes and see landmark Banff
Springs Hotel, Bow Falls and Tunnel Mountain.

DAY 10 Canmore/Banff, Monday
The entire day is at leisure. An optional full-day tour is offered
to the Columbia Icefield. The tour starts with a visit to the turquoise
waters and spectacular glacier of Lake Louise, the jewel of the
Rockies. From the
unsurpassed beauty of Lake Louise you enter a rugged wilderness
as you travel up the world famous Icefields Parkway. At the spectacular
Columbia Icefield you board a snocoach that will take you onto the
surface of the ancient Athabasca Glacier. You return to Banff late
in the afternoon.

DAY 11 Canmore to Kamloops, Tuesday
Your drive today is on the famed Trans-Canada Highway, following
a route charted by the railroad engineers and fur traders of the
mid 1800s. Continue your tour of the Canadian parks system as you
cross the jagged Kicking Horse Pass into British Columbia's Yoho
National Park. From the highway, you are treated to a dazzling display
of vast icefields, deep canyons, dense forests and glacier-fed streams.
One awe inspiring
landscape follows another enroute to Glacier National Park where
you witness stunning vistas at Rogers Pass. Continue through the
Monashee and Selkirk mountain ranges to the rugged interior town
of Kamloops.

DAY 12 Kamloops to Whistler, Wednesday
Expect a day of dramatic scenery changes when you drive through
the ranch lands and head for the coastal mountains. An optional
Floatplane Sightseeing Tour over Garibaldi Park gives you an inspiring
view of a natural preserve of volcanic peaks, alpine lakes and meadows.
Or, discover the mountain ecology on an optional Zipline Adventure
and ride on a series of cables and suspension bridges. Enjoy the
rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 13 Whistler to Vancouver, Thursday
Tour south along the spectacular Sea-to-Sky Highway through dramatic
landscapes. You leave the countryside behind and explore the metropolis
of Vancouver on a sightseeing tour. Highlights include Stanley Park,
Prospect Point, English Bay, historic Gastown, bustling Chinatown
and much more. The afternoon is free.

DAY 14 Vancouver, Friday
Your day in Vancouver is at leisure. You can go on an optional full-day
tour to Victoria, the charming provincial capital that is proud
of her maritime heritage. See the beautiful 19th century landmarks
and enjoy its lively
atmosphere. Before taking the ferry back to Vancouver, you will
visit Butchart Gardens, one of the worlds great floral displays
set in a reclaimed stone quarry. Continental breakfast included.
DAY 15 Vancouver to UK, Saturday
The time has come for some last minute shopping and to say farewell
to Canada. Individual transfer (not included, see options) to Vancouver's
International Airport in time to check in for your return flight
(not included, see options.) Continental breakfast included.
