Ascend
the coastal mountains and continue through the Yuma Desert and the Gila Mountains
to Scottsdale and Phoenix.

5 Phoenix to Grand Canyon, Monday / Wednesday
Travel through the Sonora
Desert with its towering Saguaro cacti. Continue to Sedona and see the spectacular
red rock scenery. Then tour the Oak Creek Canyon before arriving at Grand Canyon
National Park.

Day 6
Grand Canyon to Monument Valley & Lake Powell, Tuesday/Thursday
Drive
east along the South Rim and view the canyon in the morning light. Next to the
Navajo Indian Reservation, passing the trading post of Cameron and through the
Painted Desert to beautiful Monument Valley
with its red sandstone spires and
monoliths.

Enter the Mormon state of Utah this morning.
Pass through the town of Kanab before touring spectacular Bryce Canyon.

Travel to Zion National Park and see the massive rock

through Death Valley, the lowest point below sea level in the Western Hemisphere,

Travel across
Tioga Pass and then spend the day seeing some of the wonders of Yosemite and Bridalveil

Day 11 Yosemite to San Francisco, Sunday

Today's tour crosses California's agricultural valley enroute
to San Francisco. Upon arrival, a city tour includes Union Square, Lombard Street,
