Itinerary
Day 01: Airport – Sigiriya
Welcome upon arrival by our Representative at the Bandaranayke
International Airport & transfer to the hotel in a cultural triangle.
Overnight Stay at Sigiriya.


Day 02: Sigiriya – Village Tour
Before breakfast leave to visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Rightly called a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the unofficial 8th world wonder, Sigiriya is the monument that provides one of the most dramatic sceneries in all of Sri Lanka overlooking acres of green jungles. After breakfast makes a village tour in a bullock cart, one of the oldest modes of transport which are still prevalent in certain parts of the island. Here you have the opportunity to experience the local cooking guided by a lady. Let yourself learn the traditional ways of cooking a delicious and an equally enticing Sri Lankan meal in clay pots over an open hearth. Enjoy Sri Lankan village lunch. Overnight Stay at Sigiriya


Day 03: Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa
After a leisurely breakfast visit Polonnaruwa, the next majestic city in 11th Century BC, after Anuradhapura. The glories of the past heyday are still visible in the archaeological treasures unearthed and resurrected. Return to Hotel and Evening at Relax. Optional: In the evening make a jeep safari into the Minneriya National Park. Overnight Stay at Sigiriya.


Day 04: Sigiriya – Dambulla – Kandy 
After breakfast, start your trip towards Kandy. On your way, visit the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple. Iconic Sri Lankan image with its spectacular Buddha-filled interior– one with which you will be familiar long before setting foot in Sri Lanka. Afterward, continue to Kandy. En route to Kandy visit a Traditional Spice Garden in Matale to learn more about the typical spices of the island and their use in Sri Lanka kitchens. Check in to the hotel in Kandy and enjoy the evening at leisure in the hill country.


Day 05: Kandy – Peradeniya – Kandy
After breakfast visits the Temple of the tooth relic and make a city tour of Kandy. The delicate hill country breeze will kiss you as you begin your walk up to the Temple of the Tooth joining many more devotees clad in white, eagerly waiting their turn to hail the holy paragon. Afterward, drive to visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden. A trip to Kandy is never complete without a stopover at the botanical garden. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the upper lake drive. Evening witness a cultural show. Return to Hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Kandy


Day 06: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya 
After breakfast, set off to Nuwara Eliya. En route see the mountains covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls. Visit the tea plantation and a tea factory. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.


Day 07: Nuwara Eliya
Spend your day at Leisure in the Cloudy Greene Carpet Hill City. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.


Day 08: - Nuwara Eliya – Ella – Yala 
Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Yala. In the evening make a jeep safari. Home to the largest population of leopards in the world, Yala National Park is a UNESCO endorsed world heritage site. Overnight Stay in Yala.


Day 09: Yala – Kataragana Temple - Galle – Beach 
In the morning visit the Kataragama Hindu temple, where people of all religions come as pilgrims. Later leave for the beach resort. Travel through Tangalle and Matara. En-route at Koggala see the stilt fishermen seated on poles mounted. In Galle visit the Dutch fort. Overnight Stay in your Beach Resort


Day 10: Beach
Breakfast at the hotel and spend your day at leisure. Optional activities. Enjoy an Ayurveda massage. Experience the various water sports that Sri Lanka offers. Enjoy whale and dolphin watching in Mirissa (possible from November to April). Overnight Stay in your Beach Resort


Day 11- 14: Beach – Colombo – Airport
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport via Colombo, en route make a sightseeing tour of Colombo. Afterward, be transferred to the airport in time for your onward flight home.
