Day 1: Dambulla
Arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport. Clear immigration and passport control, collect your luggage and pass through customs. Meet and greet with the chauffeur guide, and proceed on your tour of the island. Proceed to Dambulla from Bandaranaike International Airport. Upon arrival in Dambulla, check in at the hotel and relax.

Day 2: Anuradhapura
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Visit the ancient city of Anuradapura in the morning. Anuradhapura is located in the north central part of the Island, it was the first capital and undoubtedly the grandest city of ancient Sri Lanka. It is the home of two world heritage sites. Many places of historical and archeological interest could be visited. Sri-Mahabodhi (sacred Bo-tree), brought as a sapling of the tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment, it is over 2,200 years old and is the oldest historically documented tree in the world. Brazen palace (2nd cent. B.C.} The 1600 stone columns you see are all that is left of a magnificent multi-storied
residence for monks. Ruwanweli Seya {2nd cent. B.C}. this is the most famous of all the Dagobas. It originally depicted the perfect "waterbubble" shape that modern restoration has not been able to accurately reproduce. Samadhi Buddha {3rd cent. B.C.}, one of the most famous statues, depicting the Buddha in a state of "Samadhi" or deep meditation. lsurumuniya rock temple {3rd cent. B.C.} Well known for its rock
carving of "the lovers". Kuttam Pokuna - twin ponds {3rd cent. B.C.) Used by the monks of old as a bathing pool. Thuparama Dagoba {3rd cent.B.C.}, the oldest Dagoba in the island. It enshrines a relic of the Buddha. Thereafter Visit the world famous Sigirya rock fortress. Rock Fortress of Sigiriya - This World Heritage site - a spectacular Rock Fortress - is one of Sri Lanka's major attractions. The most impressive elements of the unique complex are the Water Gardens, the Frescoes of beautiful maidens, the Mirror Wall with ancient graffiti, the Lion platform and the Summit with an area of 1.6 hectares which was completely covered with buildings during the period of Sigiriya's glory. Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Kandy
After Breakfast check out and proceed to Kandy. Visit temple of the tooth en-route.
The Sacred Tooth Relic (Diilada) of the Buddha is the most venerated object of worship for Buddhists. Its present house, the Temple of the Tooth Relic {Diilada Miiligiiwa) in Kandy is considered the foremost sacred place of worship in the Buddhist world. The relic is believed to gift governance of a country to the person who holds the relic. The Kandyan cultural dance within the temple premises, which is a distinct and
significant part of many local Buddhist festivals. Check in at the hotel, spend rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4: Kandy

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya
Check out after early breakfast at the hotel and Take to the misty mountains of Nuwara Eliya where you will be able to visit a lush green tea plantation en route. Join the tea pluckers as they pick the famous tea leaf and a bud before being introduced the process of manufacturing some of the world's finest tea. Enjoy gorgeous vistas of the
surrounding countryside before retreating to the warmth of your hotel. Take the Train from Peradeniya (Kandy) to Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya is the heart of Sri Lankan hill country. It is the home of the famous Ceylon Tea and the rolling mountains are a carpet of velvety green tea plantations, interspersed with gushing streams and tumbling waterfalls. The salubrious climate, misty glens and the decidedly British
character make Nuwara Eliya a must on any Sri Lankan travel itinerary.

Day 6: Galle Dutch
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to your beach resort visiting Galle Dutch fort en-route. Galle said to be the famous Tarshish of the Bible is the Port where the Portuguese first landed in Sri Lanka. Fortified by the Dutch who ruled
maritime Sri Lanka in the 17th and 18th centuries, the city still retains the air of old Holland. Old Dutch Churches and monuments with armorial bearings, well preserved Fort and ramparts, imposing crested and monogrammed gateway dated 1669, many well preserved old Dutch houses and narrow alleys still bearing Dutch names. As for ouvenirs, one may make a pick of exquisite hand-made lace, Ivory carvings, moonstone
jewelry and beautiful translucent tortoise shell ware, including bracelets, trinket boxes, combs - sometimes inlaid with silver. Check in and relax at the hotel.
