Itinerary:
Day 1: LHR/FCO
After hopping onto your transfer from the airport or central train station in Rome to your hotel, spend the rest of the day exploring the City of Seven Hills at your leisure. Don’t forget to seek out a nice restaurant in which to wrap up your first day with a plate of fresh Italian pasta (own expense).

Day 2: Rome
Wake up to breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy your time getting to know the Eternal City, where you can simply breathe art and history at every corner. A seamless blend of old and new, Rome has something to offer to everyone, whether you are looking for historical factoids or landmarks, or simply looking to go on a shopping spree in Campo de Fiori or in Via Veneto.

Day 3: Rome – Naples – Pompeii – Sorrento(280km – 3.5 hrs)
Pick-up from your hotel in Rome from 06:30 am to 07:00 am (please remember to order your breakfast box at your hotel the day before departure). Upon arrival in Naples, your tour leader will take you for a walking tour of the historical centre to admire Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, the Gallery of Umberto I, and the San Carlo Opera House. After lunch in a typical restaurant with Neapolitan specialities (included), leave the city and continue to Pompeii for a guided tour. Visit the excavations of Pompeii, the ancient Roman city that was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. This archaeological journey through the ancient city will allow you to better understand the way Romans used to live at that time. Then visit a coral and cameo factory where you have the opportunity to admire and purchase items made with a technique dating back to ancient Greek times. Transfer to Sorrento, famous for its picturesque old town centre and characteristic fisherman’s village of Marina Grande, one of the most authentic treasures of the city. Check-in at the hotel, and dinner.

Day 4: Sorrento – Capri – Sorrento (30 min by hydrofoil)
In the morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing at 07:30 am to the island of Capri. Meet the guide and sail to Capri by hydrofoil. Once on the island, enjoy a boat trip to the Blue Grotto (weather permitting). A minibus then takes you up to Anacapri, where you’ll have lunch (included). Then reach the famous Piazzetta, the heart of the island. After that, return to Marina Grande where you will board the ferry. Once on the mainland, you will be transferred back to Sorrento. Dinner at the hotel.

Overnight in Sorrento.

Day 5: Sorrento – Rome (270 Km – 3.5 hrs)
Your breakfast at the hotel is followed by a day at leisure in which you can explore Sorrento at your own pace. Then rendezvous in your hotel lobby at 02:30 – 03:00 pm and hop onto the transfer back to Pompeii, where you’ll join the bus that takes you back to Rome. You’ll be dropped off in Rome at around 09:00 pm at Viale Washington, Viale Luigi Einaudi, Termini Station Area, or Via Ludovisi. From here you may continue with your travel arrangements.

Day 6: Departure Rome (30km – 45min, to the airport) / (1.5km – 15min, to the train station)
The tour ends after one last breakfast at the hotel and transfers to the airport or central train station, to continue with your travel arrangements.
