Feel free to use the available bank cabins to exchange currency for LKR (Sri Lankan Rupees) and collect a local SIM Card. Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel and leave to Sigiriya. On the way, stop in Kegalle for the Elephant Walk Experience which is going to be one of the highlights of the entire trip. Elephant Walk: Imagine having your own pet elephant to walk with, feed, and even bathe in a nearby flowing river. This is the Elephant Walk Experience. For 45 minutes, your mahout (elephant caretaker) will teach you about elephants and make you fall in love with these beautiful land beasts. Compared to seeing the elephants out in the safari, with this experience you are entitled to unlimited images and videos with your new pet and to learn all about it. Continue towards Sigiriya, and when passing Dambulla, climb the famous Rangiri Dambulla Cave Temple to see the amazing Cave Paintings and learn about the history of this place. Rangiri Dambulla Cave Temple: A popular UNESCO World Heritage site in Sri Lanka and a place that has lots of history to learn and to marvel about. Starting with the cave wall paintings across the massive caves, the hundreds of Buddha statues inside, the many tales and history involved, this place is one of the most revered Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka.
