Kindly note that it is now a requirement to present Negative PCR tests taken within 72 hours before arrival and departure.


For departure, we will arrange for guests to have their samples collected and transported to the testing facility in Entebbe to be ready for their connecting flight on departure.

Day 1: Arrival Entebbe.
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda and after finalizing the formalities, you shall be welcomed by your guide, who will then drive you to your hotel. Upon arrival, guests are required to present negative PCR tests taken within 72 hours before arrival.

Transit time: Approx. 10 mins, 7 km


Day 2:Drive to Kibale National Park.
After breakfast, you will choose to either fly or drive to Kibale National Park; while driving, you will pass by tea plantations along the way.
You will continue and, on the way, stop in Fort Portal. In the afternoon you will arrive at your accommodation.
Time allowing, you could explore the crater lakes nearby or visit the local communities and get to learn more about their way of life, culture, and traditions.
Otherwise, spend the rest of the day relaxing.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking, Bigodi Swamp Walk.
Today you will track the most famous inhabitants of Kibale National Park, the chimpanzees. With over 1,450 individuals protected within the park, Kibale forest is home to the largest number of the endangered chimpanzees in Uganda, as well as the threatened red colobus monkey and the rare L’Hoest’s monkey. The forest has one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totaling 13 species including the black and white colobus, blue monkey and grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed monkey, bushbabies, and pottos. In the afternoon after tracking, you have the opportunity for a guided walk through the swamps of Bigodi. After the fascinating walk, you have the choice of relaxing in the accommodation or a community walk in a village nearby.

Day 4: Drive to Bwindi National Park.
Today you will drive to Bwindi National Park. The park is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This fascinating mountain forest hosts chimpanzees and spectacular birds. There are 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon, and other beautiful forest species. This evening, you will go visit Ride 4 a woman project where you will learn more about the local people’s lifestyles and the women’s projects in arts and crafts. You shall go to bed earlier this evening since you should be fit for gorilla trekking the next day. This evening, you will have your samples collected for the PCR test required for departure.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekkeing
This morning you will get up very early for gorilla trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. Later in the day, you will choose to visit the Gorilla Research Clinic in Buhoma, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park’s main tourist site, which has now expanded to a larger Gorilla Health and Community Conservation Center with a panoramic view of Bwindi forest, they give tourists a behind the scenes tour of gorilla conservation through explaining their programs including gorilla health monitoring, community health, and livelihoods.

Day 6: Drive back to Entebbe Airport for your onward flight.
After breakfast, you will fly back to Entebbe enjoying the beautiful aerial view of southwestern Uganda, the hills and thick vegetation as well as the farming practiced by the locals. Afterward, you will arrive at the Airport and thereafter proceed to catch your flight back home.
