Itinerary:
Day 1: Siracusa or surroundings
Arrival in Catania and pick up the rental car. Departure to the hotel in Siracusa or surroundings. Accommodation.
Day 2: Siracusa or surroundings
Breakfast at the hotel and visit of this magnificent city rich in testimonies of its ancient Greco-Roman past. We recommend the Greek Theater, the Roman Amphitheater, the Latomy and the Ear of Dionysus. The historic center (Ortigia) with the Temple of Minerva and the Fountain of Arethusa. In addition, the temple of Apollo and the old baths of the Jewish quarter. Back to the hotel.
Day 3: Siracusa or surroundings
Breakfast at the hotel, we recommend an excursion to the cradle of the Sicilian Baroque, the villages of Noto, Modica and Ragusa. Three authentic gems of the most unknown Sicily. Back to the hotel.
Day 4: Siracusa / Agrigento or surroundings
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Agrigento. During the trip we recommend a stop in Caltagirone, famous for its ceramics. Then arrival in Agrigento and visit of the Valley of the Temples. Accommodation in Agrigento or surroundings.
Day 5: Agrigento / Catania or surroundings
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Catania or surroundings. During the trip we recommend a stop at Piazza Armerina, to visit the Villa del Casale, famous for its mosaics. Continue to the hotel, possibility of visiting the old town of Catania. Arrival at the hotel and accommodation.
Day 6: Catania or surroundings
Breakfast at the hotel and possibility of excursion to the biggest volcano in Europe, Etna. Possibility of making the ascent to the main crater (3,200 meters) in 4x4 and volcanologist guide. In the afternoon, continue to Taormina and visit the Greek Theater. Back to the hotel.
Day 7: Catania or surroundings
Breakfast at the hotel and possibility of excursion to the Aeolian Islands (by boat, without car). An archipelago of wild beauty where you can breathe the taste of the most authentic Mediterranean. As an alternative, visit the shore of the Cyclops. Back to the hotel.
Day 8: Catania or surroundings
Breakfast at the hotel, return of the vehicle and end of our services
