Itinerary:
Wed 08 Jun 22 - New Orleans Arrival Day
Let the team at EagleRider know if you want to arrive a day or two early to kick around New Orleans a bit before meeting up with your Tour Guides and fellow travelers at an Orientation Meeting. Our hotel is in the heart of the French Quarter where New Orleans retains much of its French colonial influence. This unique American city is famous around the world for its culture, cuisine, and music but go easy in the Big Easy, as weve got some ridin to do tomorrow.

Thu 09 Jun 22 - New Orleans - Plantation Ride
Today we pick up our bikes from our Eaglerider location in New Orleans and ride out to spend the day exploring one of the Antebellum Plantations and gardens, soaking in the landscape and cultural history of this special region. Tonight, will be all about our Welcome Dinner and celebrating the beginning of our amazing experiences together.

Fri 10 Jun 22 - New Orleans to Natchez
Well begin our ride today by rolling out of New Orleans by way of the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway, at 28 miles it is the longest bridge over water in the world! From there we spend the day riding the backroads of Mississippi, experiencing our first towns along the Blues Trail will be following for a few days. Tonight, we get to explore the great blues town of Natchez, on the banks of the Mississippi.

Sat 11 Jun 22 - Natchez to Clarksdale
Today we continue to immerse ourselves in the history of the Mississippi blues. There are tons of Blues Trail Markers to hit today, as well as some incredibly preserved Juke Joints such as Po Monkeys in Marigold. Well explore parts of the Natchez Trace and ride through plantations of cotton. The food, well, that goes without saying. It's a menu of soul food, BBQ, and sweet tea. Before arriving at our hotel, well take a stop at the
Crossroads where Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil. Tonight, its cold drinks and live blues!

Sun 12 Jun 22 - Clarksdale to Memphis
Today is all about exploring Memphis! Music lovers around the world know Beale Street, a national historical landmark that showcases the impact Memphis has had on the Blues and Jazz. Legends such as Louis Armstrong, Muddy Waters, Memphis Minnie, and most notably B.B. King, all helped develop the style known as Memphis Blues. One of the city's most important Rock and Roll icons is Sun Studio, which discovered the talents of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Roy Orbison. Its just a short ride from Clarksdale so well have plenty of time to explore this amazing city.

Mon 13 Jun 22 - Memphis to Muscle Shoals
From Memphis well head out of Tennessee and into Alabama where well have time to explore the famous city of Muscle Shoals. Since the 1960s, the city has been known for music developing the "Muscle Shoals Sound", as local recording studios (including FAME Studios in the late 1950s and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in 1969) produced hit records that shaped the history of popular music. Tonight, well spend along the
shores of the mighty Tennessee River in this lively music and arts district.

Tue 14 Jun 22 - Muscle Shoals to Nashville
Today we head north into the southern Appalachian foothills of Tennessee for a beautiful day of riding along the winding and historic Natchez Trace Parkway. Well also make a stop at the Jack Daniels Distillery for lunch and a guided tour of this famous site! Well, head out for the amazing city of Nashville where we'll return our bikes. Tonight, we will celebrate the miles weve ridden and the friends we made as we party together for our final Farewell Dinner!

Wed 15 Jun 22 - Nashville Departure Day
We hope you had a wonderful tour with Eaglerider, and well see you on your next great motorcycle adventure!

Thu 16 Jun 22 - Cabo San Lucas - Los Barriles
Today we will have a casual start allowing time in the morning to do some shopping or take in an early morning tour. From Cabo, we will ride along the coastal highway to the town of San Jose del Cabo where we will have lunch and visit the historic city. The city center offers many art galleries as well as the Mission San Jose del Cabo founded in 1730. We will also stop at the Tropic of Cancer Visitor Center before heading to our beachfront resort in Los Barriles!

Fri 17 Jun 22 - Los Barriles - Loreto
Today we ride! We'll take Hwy 1 through Ciudad Constitucion where we stop for lunch. Our afternoon ride will take us east across the broad desert expanse over to the coast of the Sea of Cortez and Loreto. Founded in 1697 by Jesuit Missionaries, Loreto is the oldest Spanish settlement on the Baja peninsula. On our way, we will ride some of the best twisty roads through the mountains of Sierra de la Laguna to the picturesque historic mining town of El Triunfo and one of the best coffee shops in Baja.

Sat 18 Jun 22 - Loreto - Guerrero Negro
We continue north on Mexico Highway 1 with Conception Bay on our right. We'll stop at one of the beautiful sandy coves where you can take a dip in the warm waters. Lunch will be in the small village of Mulege, a cute traditional Mexican Town located at the mouth of a river. Back on the road, we ride via Santa Rosalia to San Ignacio where we take an ice cream break in the town plaza. From San Ignacio, we continue across the barren Vizcaino desert to our hotel in the town of Guerrero Negro, just south of the Baja California Sur state border. The area around Guerrero Negro is part of the El Vizcaino Biosphere Reserve, designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993, which encompasses bays, lagoons, vast expanses of the Sonoran Desert and the rugged Sierra Mountains. Scammon's Lagoon is an important breeding and birthing site for the California gray whale.

Sun 19 Jun 22 - Guerrero Negro - San Quintin
Our ride continues north on Highway 1 through the vast desert landscape of Valle de Los Cirios. The desert is full of a large variety of plants including the Dr. Suess-looking Cirio tree. After a lunch stop in Catavina, we wind through twisty roads back toward the Pacific coast and finally to our beachfront hotel in San Quintin where a beachside bonfire and cold drinks await us.

Mon 20 Jun 22 - San Quintin - Ensenada
We leave the beautiful beach of San Quintin and are on our way to Ensenada. The port city boasts a scenic setting, pleasant weather, duty-free shopping, fine sport fishing, and close proximity to the United States. Ensenada is famous for it's fish tacos and Hussong's Cantina, Baja's oldest bar. Before we reach Ensenada, we will visit La Bufadora a place the ocean waves get forced up through a crack in the cliffs and create a sizeable geyser. The area around La Bufadora is filled with shops and you will have a chance to try a stuffed barbecued giant clam Baja-style! Enjoy your last evening south of the border.

Tue 21 Jun 22 - Ensenada - Los Angeles, CA
Today your trip will take you back to the United States. We take Hwy 3 out of Ensenada and enjoy a scenic ride through the vineyards of Valle de Guadalupe towards the Mexico/U.S. border at Tecate. Once back in the US, well ride through some great motorcycle roads in the eastern San Diego countryside as we make our way to the coast in San Diego. After a lunch stop, we'll head into Los Angeles. It is a bittersweet feeling as it
is now time to return our bikes at EagleRider's LAX location with images of Baja swirling in our heads.
