This tour is an ideal introduction to see the best of Adelaide and learn more about its history on a friendly and released tour. In the morning, board your coach for the City Highlights Tour. Your guide will introduce you to this delightful city, which is surrounded by parklands with a blend of historic buildings, wide streets, cafes and restaurants. Your morning will include a drive past Adelaide's cultural precinct - North Terrace, Adelaide Botanic Gardens and the beautiful Botanic Park, home to the Bicentennial Conservatory and the Adelaide Zoo.
Drive through the historic North Adelaide, where you'll see tree-lined streets, mansions and historic buildings. A stop will be made at the National Wine Centre of Australia, located on the edge of Adelaide's stunning Botanic Gardens where you will have free time to explore the Wine Discovery Journey Museum. Your morning will also include a visit to the iconic St Peters Cathedral (subject to availability) or the newly developed Adelaide Oval precinct.

Not a formal Off Train Experience as such, but an added bonus that we like to include if we can!
While you may not have heard of the outback town of Marla before, it is fair to say it is worth the early start just to see the sunrise over this South Australian desert landscape. Located closer to Alice Springs than Adelaide, Marla is just shy of 1000 kilometres into the journey. The train arrives in the dark and guests are welcome to step off to stretch their legs as the sunlight slowly bathes the surrounding outback and start their day with a steaming mug of coffee and bacon and egg roll. Take a moment to enjoy the stillness on this short 45-minute stop with the promise of the day stretching before you. Re-board the train (you can even hop back into bed!) and brunch will be served from 10 am.
PLEASE NOTE: This stop is only on northbound journeys from Adelaide to Darwin.

Visit Alice Springs Reptile Centre, home to the largest reptile display in Central Australia, where you'll have lots of fun, particularly during the show.

A Quicksilver coach will pick you up from the selected pick-up point for your transfer to Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina Port Douglas, the departure point of your cruise. At 9.30 am board Quicksilver's 45.5-metre high-speed wave-piercing catamaran to commence a full-day cruise. Travel in air-conditioned comfort to a spacious reef activity platform moored in protective lagoons at the renowned Agincourt Reef, on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef. Quicksilver has facilities to enable both swimmers and non-swimmers to experience this stunning reef world. Explore the reef from the comfort of a semi-submersible, the underwater observatory or by snorkelling. A range of optional activities are available including up to two dives for certified divers, and novices can experience the magic of scuba with a qualified dive instructor or an Oceanwalker helmet dive. Also available are guided snorkelling tours with a marine biologist and scenic helicopter flights over the reef (all optional activities at your own expense). Enjoy lunch on board. The cruise concludes at approximately 4.30 pm, at which time drop-offs will commence.

A great taster tour taking in Perth and Fremantle, affording the opportunity to drive around these iconic cities with various stops. Starting in Perth, the tour takes in all major attractions of the revitalised Perth CBD, including the Western Australian Cricket Ground (WACA) and Optus Stadium. Then on to Kings Park Botanical Gardens, where you have the opportunity to view wildflowers or take in the stunning views from the war memorial looking back over the City skyline. Continue through the affluent Western Suburbs of Perth, known as Millionaire's Row before passing Cottesloe Beach where the Indian Ocean sparkles. Travel on into historic Fremantle, viewing the impressive facades of this heritage-listed city including a brief stop. To fully enhance and maximise your experience in Fremantle it is highly suggested that you take one of the additional options or include a relaxing Swan River cruise back to Perth (own expense). Alternatively, remain on the coach returning to Perth at approximately 12.30 pm.
