Itinerary:


Day 1:
London Heahrow to Dubai by flight
Dubai to Ahmedabad by flight
Ahmedabad


- 03:00 Hrs: Arrive Ahmedabad airport.
- Upon arrival at Ahmedabad airport welcome, meet and assist by our representative and transfer to Hotel where accommodation is protected from previous night for immediate occupancy of the room.
- Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 2: Ahmedabad
In the morning after breakfast, we will leave to visit the Calico Museum (Prior Permission)- primary textile museum of India, showcasing amazing artworks; Swaminarayan Temple- oldest temple of Swaminarayan. Thereafter, we will proceed to Akshardham Temple (Gandhinagar), a temple dedicated to Swaminarayan, with brilliant architecture spread over and area of 23 acres; and Adalaj Stepwell- a 'water building' (a five story well) dating back to the 15th century.
Return back to the hotel.

Day 3: Ahmedabad to Bajana by surface (Approx. 100 Kms, 3 Hrs)
After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive from Ahmedabad to Bajana.
En route visiting Sun Temple Modhera is known for the 11th century Sun temple. The 11th century Sun temple is situated on a knoll in Modhera. The Sun Temple was built by King Bhimdev I in 1026-27 AD, two centuries before the Sun Temple at Konark. This temple is one of the finest Hindu temples in Gujarat, built by the great Solanki dynasty. This temple and the Konark Sun temple in Orissa are very similar. This similarity is that this temple was also designed in such a way so as to let the dawn sun shine on the image of Surya, at the time of equinoxes. The main hall and shrine are reached through a complex, pillared pavilion.

In the afternoon, we will depart in jeep for little Rann of Kutch. Rann of Kutch is a salt marsh located in the Thar Desert. This is the largest salt desert of the world.

Day 4: Bajana to Bhuj by surface (Approx. 260 Kms, 5-6 Hrs)
In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to Bhuj. En-route, we will stop at the collector office to get the permit license for visiting Banny Village (for foreigners).
After visiting Bhuj's attractions like Pragmahal Palace, Aina Mahal, Bhujio Hill and Hamirsar Lake, check in at the hotel and have a pleasurable.

Day 5: Bhuj
Morning proceed to Banni Village en-route take permit (Please all client to need to obtain the permit). to see The Art, Craft & Culture of Kutch into village like Hodka, Ludiya and Dhordo. Banni means “a cluster of village”. In Banni area of Kutch the Meghwal-Harijans who migrated from Rajasthan use Khambira, Kharek, Kudi Stiches in their embroidery. Also outline and satin stitch embroidery of the area and very minute mirror designs similar to the famous Mutwa embroidery of the area. They make wall hangings, waistcoats and pouches in Kharek Stich and do 'Moti Bharat' or beadwork on handheld fans, bracelets, toys and belts. After visit HODKA village– Hodka derives from the Gujarati word ‘Hodi’ which means ‘boat’. Since, the villages here are called jheels, where potable water is available. Hodka is famous for its beautiful embroidery and mud work as much as Leather craft. Both men and women are actively involved in developing the art and craft tradition of the region. Visit LUDIYA village- Harijans and Muslims are main communities in this village. The main occupations are: monsoon farming, cattle rearing, intricate wood carving, intricate embroidery work, mud-work and wall painting for decorating homes. Harijan men are involved with wood carving, the women take up embroidery and wall-decoration. Visits to DHORDO to see beautiful traditional mud houses (Bhungas) with mirror work and its fine Mutwa embroidery with tiny mirrors.

Day 6: Bhuj to Rajkot by surface (Approx. 240 Kms, 5 Hrs)
In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to Rajkot. En-route, we will halt in Morbi and Wankaner- both influenced and ornamented with European architecture and culture.
Upon arrival at Rajkot, check in at hotel.
Afternoon visit Kaba Gandhi No Delo & Baps Swaminarayan Temple.

Day 7; Rajkot to Sasangir by surface (Approx. 170 Kms, 4-5 Hrs)
After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive from Rajkot to Gir it is the only place with wild lions. But to truly experience Gir and the lions, you must explore their natural habitat, with everything from tiny wild birds, not easily seen, but heard singing in the forest canopy, to crocodiles floating in the marsh waters.


On the way, we will stop at Shri Jalaram Bappa temple for Darshan and Junagarh to visit- Uparkot Fort (built by Chandra Gupt Maurya, dating back to 319 BC) and Mahaprabhuji's Baithak.

Day 8: Sasangir
Morning and Afternoon safari at Sasangir by shared open vehicle.

Day 9: Sasangir to Diu by surface
In the morning, after breakfast, head towards Diu and stopover in Somnath. Somnath has a temple that is the first out of the ten Shiva's Joyotirlings. Diu is amongst the least populated districts of India and as it is a historical part of Saurashtra region, this makes it a significant place to visit.

Day 10: Diu
After breakfast proceed to visit the St. Paul’s church, Diu Fort & markets.
St.Paul's church -St. Paul's church is dedicated to our Lady of Immaculate Conception. The construction of the church was started in 1601 and was completed in the year 1610. The main facade of the church is perhaps the most elaborate of all Portuguese churches in India. The façade has been illuminated by flood lights. The church adorned with curiously treated volutes and shell - like motifs and the magnificent wood carving is considered to be the most elaborate of all the Portuguese churches in India.
Diu Fort: It is an expansive and imposing structure, situated on the coast of the island. The fort commands a magnificent view of sea. It was constructed between 1535 and 1541 AD. The fort is skirted by the Sea on the three sides. On the fort stands a giant Light House. Several canons still stare menacingly from top. The main front wall is having five huge windows with stone galleries.
The Fort has been creatively lit, which creates a breath taking views at night. Rugged yet gentle, fierce yet loving. The majestic structure stands on the coast of DIU as a sentinel.

Day 13: Diu to Mumbai by flight
Transfer from Hotel to Diu airport in time to board flight for Mumbai.
1445 Hrs: Arrive Mumbai airport.
Upon arrival at Mumbai airport transfer to hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure and Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 14:
Mumbai to Dubai by flight
Dubai to London Heathrow by flight


Transfer from Hotel to Mumbai airport in time to board flight for London Heathrow via Dubai.
