Itinerary:


Day 1: Lima
Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to the selected
hotel. Rest of the day free to rest or take an excursion (upon request), if time permits.
Overnight in Lima.

Day 2: Lima


City Tour:
Today we will start the panoramic city tour where we can see the Colonial Center, the
Major Square, the Government Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the Archbishop's Palace
and the Municipality of Lima. Likewise, we will visit the convent of San Francisco, a
convent with cloisters and catacombs of the Colonial period. The tour will continue through the traditional, residential and commercial areas of Lima
to end with a spectacular panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and the beaches of the
Miraflores district.

Day 3: Lima / Cusco
Breakfast at the hotel.
At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Cusco
(not included). Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to your
hotel.


City Tour & Visit to Nearby Archaeological Center:
At the scheduled time, you will be picked up from the hotel to start the tour of the
colonial city, built on the bases of Inca palaces. On the tour we will visit the Plaza de
Armas, the Temple of the Sun, also known as "Qoricancha", and the Cathedral of Cusco,
where we can see beautiful paintings and sculptures. Then we will continue to the
archaeological center of Sacsayhuaman, a multipurpose place where the Sun, the Moon
and the Earth were worshiped, and which was also used as a military fortress and an
astrological center. Later we arrived at Q'enco, a cult center related to the fire element.
We continue to Puca Pucara, a place used as a supply center and Inca checkpoint, where
wind ceremonies were also held. At the end of the tour, we will arrive at Tambomachay,
center of cult to water and fertility. Return to the hotel.

Day 4: Cusco / Sacred Valley

Sacred Valley of The Incas:
In the morning, we will begin a tour in which we are visiting the beautiful town of Pisac,
its handicraft market, the popular fair and its narrow streets. Then we continue the tour
through the Sacred Valley of Urubamba, where you can enjoy a nice lunch buffet.
Next, we will visit Ollantaytambo: Inca city still inhabited that conserves a complex
system of irrigation channels and foundations of that time, on which a large part of the
town was built. The archaeological center of Ollantaytambo has large groups of
platforms, forts, plazas, canals and the Real Casa del Sol, a megalithic temple of great
mystical value.
Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

Day 5: Sacred Valley/Cusco

Machu Picchu Tour:
At the set time, transfer to the train station to start the excursion to the Sacred City of
Machu Picchu, recognized as one of the wonders of the world and declared a World
Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The train takes us to the town of Aguas Calientes, from where we will ascend by bus to
the Archaeological Center and start the guided tour that has duration of 2 hours approx.
During the visit, you can see temples, squares, terraces, houses, barns, as well as the
great biodiversity that exists in the surroundings. It is worth noting that the
extraordinary scenery exalts the beauty of Machu Picchu where it is located.
Around the citadel has been formed a National Reserve that has an area of 32,500
hectares, and that includes a constellation of archaeological monuments, which in our
opinion, were built as part of the Machu Picchu complex and not in isolation.
At the set time we will return to Aguas Calientes, where we have lunch included. Return
by train to Cusco. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to the
hotel.

Day 6: Cusco / Puno
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the bus station to take the shuttle bus to Puno. On the way, we will visit the
church of Andahuaylillas, also known as the Sistine Chapel of South America, the
archaeological center of Raqchi (one of the main temples to the god Wiracocha), the
pass of "La Raya", which is the highest point of the route (4335 msnm.) and the
museum of Pucara site. Arriving in Puno, our staff will be waiting to transfer you to the selected hotel.

Day 7: Puno / La Paz

Copacabana & the Sun Island
Very early in the morning we will transfer you to Copacabana by a road that borders
Lake Titicaca, obtaining an impressive view of the Cordillera Real. Upon arrival, we will
visit the Sanctuary of the Virgin Morena. Lunch.
In the afternoon we will sail on Lake Titicaca for about 1.30 hr until we reach the
southern part of Isla del Sol (Sun Island), where we will disembark to visit the
Archaeological remains of "Pilkakaina" - Temple of the Inca.
After that we will take a short walk along the stairs of Yumani, until we reach the
fountain of Youth, there you can purify yourself by taking a bit of sacred water, and we
will also enjoy the beauty of that beautiful Inca garden. Finally, we will move to Huatajata where the bus will be waiting for us to take us to La
Paz.

Day 8: La Paz

La Paz City Tour & The Moon Valley:
At the agreed time we will start the City Tour for (3 hours approx.), where we will visit
the most interesting places of this city, such as the colonial museum, the house of
Murillo, the open museum of Tiahuanaco, the Moon Valley, the shops of the witches
(Yatiris) and the Indian market.
Overnight in La Paz.

Day 9: La Paz/ Puno

Tiahuanaco Archaeological Center
Visit the pre-Inca archaeological center of the Tiahuanaco culture (1500 BC), where we
can see the famous Puerta del Sol (Sun Door), different monoliths, the pyramid of
Akapana, the temple of Kalasasaya and the semi-underground temple with heads. At
the end of the excursion we will cross the border to Peruvian lands and we will go to
Puno.
Overnight in Puno.

Day 10: Puno / Lima

Sillustani, Pre-Inca Archeological Center:
At the set time, we will transfer you to Juliaca airport to take your return flight (not
included). On the way we will make a brief visit to the Pre-Inca Archeological Center of
Sillustani, located 16 km from Puno, on a small peninsular plateau, where are the best
funerary towers of the highlands called "Chullpas", dating from 600 to 800 years a.C. The environment of Sillustani is simply spectacular because it is surrounded by the
Umayo lagoon. Arrival at the airport to take the flight out from Juliaca.
