Itinerary:


Day 1:
- Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Chillaw, is a breaking point to the long journey the next day. Relax the rest of the day at leisure.
- You have the opportunity to take a short walk around the Chillaw town with the guide and enjoy the area.

Day 2:
- Leave after breakfast to Chillaw via Anuradhapura. (On Monday / Wednesday / Friday you have the option of taking the morning flight to Trincomalee.)
- In the evening relax and enjoy the beach. You will walk to the dive center and discuss the next days proceedings and get your selves familiar with the dive istructors.

Day 3:
- Enjoy a 2-tank Dive in the morning.
- You have a variety of dives to select from, The dive center will discuss with you and decide on the dives sites that you would explore.
- In the evening relax and unwind.

Day 4:
- Enjoy a 2-tank Dive in the morning.
- After lunch you will leave for the Koneswaram Temple and the natural harbor of Sri Lanka.


Trincomalee is famed for its natural harbor. Described by Admiral Lord Nelson as the finest harbor in the world when he visited aboard HMS sea shore in 1770. It is ranked as the worlds 5th largest natural harbors. During the Second World War the harbor became the base for the combined East Asian Fleet of the Allied Powers. It is the ideal beach resort. All water sports are available here including fishing and sea angling. Whale watching is a specialty.


Located at the mouth of Sri Lanka’s longest river Mahaweli ganga, Trinco’s most famous landmark is fort Fredrick, a century and a half of British fortifications can be found here. The cliff known as Swami Rock on the tip of Fort Fredrick’s Promontory is associated with a tragic romantic tale woven around a Dutch maiden who is believed to have jumped to her death from this spot seeing her fickle lover sailing away.


The Thirukiswaram Kovil which stands on top most pinnacle of the swami rock is a highly venerated Hindu shrine dedicated to lord Shiva.
About 11 Km west of Trinco are the Kanniyai hot springs, sacred to Hindus who believe them to be created by God Vishnu.

Day 5:
- Enjoy a 2-tank Dive in the morning.


Optional: In the evening board yacht and take a sea cruise with a dinner on board.

Day 6:
- Enjoy a 2-tank Dive in the morning.
- Thereafter leave for Habarana.
- Located in the north central part of the island, Habarana is apart of Sri Lanka’s dry zone. Thanks to the genius of our ancient kings dating as far as the 05th Century AD, the Sri Lankan Dry Zone is any thing but dry, with hundreds of lakes and reservoirs which are connected by an elaborate network of canals making up an old but great irrigation system. Aside from the benefit for agriculture and industry, the waterworks of the dry zone provide some of the most breathtakingly beautiful scenery and fertile habitat for the islands incredible bio-diversity.

Day 7:
- After Breakfast ascend the Rock fortress Sigirya.


Sigiriya Rock Fortress:
It is a world heritage site, built by king Kashyapa (473 “491 A.D). The Lion rock is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 meters from the scrub jungle. The rock was the innermost stronghold of the 70 hectare fortified town. The base of the rock is ringed by a moat, rampart, and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens. The world-renowned frescoes of the heavenly maidens of Sigiriya which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway are one of the main attractions. The frescoes are painted in earth pigments on plaster.


- Thereafter leave to Negombo.

Day 8:
- Departure transfer to the airport.
