Itinerary:


Day 1: Los Angeles Arrival
Arrive at Los Angeles International Airport and transfer independently to your hotel. Overnight in Los Angeles.


Day 2: Los Angeles - Palm Springs
Spend the day at the original Disneyland Park. Visit the nation’s oldest theme park, Knott’s Berry Farm, or one of Anaheim’s many other fun-filled attractions before continuing east to Palm Springs. Overnight in Palm Springs.


Day 3: Palm Springs - Phoenix/Scottsdale
Spend the morning lounging by the pool, walking along palm tree lined streets, or exploring countless shops, art galleries and museums before setting out through the Coachella Valley to Phoenix and Scottsdale, two of Central Arizona’s top destinations. Overnight in Phoenix/Scottsdale.


Day 4: Phoenix/Scottsdale - Grand Canyon
Head north to Grand Canyon National Park. Stop at one of the
numerous overlooks, walk part of the Rim Trail or along the
historic Hermit Road. Overnight in the Grand Canyon


Day 5: Grand Canyon - Las Vegas
Today, head west through Williams and Kingman, the heart of Historic Route
66 and one of Arizona’s hidden treasures, to Hoover Dam.
Continue to Las Vegas. Overnight in Las Vegas.


Day 6: Las Vegas
Enjoy a full day in Las Vegas, the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World’. Overnight in Las
Vegas.


Day 7: Las Vegas - Death Valley
Your journey takes
you west to the lowest elevation in North America, Death
Valley National Park. Stop at Zabriskie Point offering
spectacular views of the wildly eroded and vibrantly
coloured badlands. Overnight in Death Valley


Day 8: Death Valley - Yosemite
This morning,
travel north into the High Sierra where Tioga Road, the
highest drivable pass in California, leads you into Yosemite
National Park. Explore a giant sequoia grove and meet the
largest trees on earth, or spend an evening under the stars.
Overnight in Yosemite.


Day 9: Yosemite - San Francisco
Journey west
through Gold Rush-era attractions, California’s State
Capital, Sacramento, and on to San Francisco. Overnight in
San Francisco.


Day 10: San Francisco (Napa Valley)
Spend a full day
exploring the beloved City by the Bay’s neighbourhoods
including: Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, Union Square,
Nob Hill, the Embarcadero/Financial District, and Golden
Gate Park. Alternatively, spend the day in Napa Valley
where picturesque rolling hills and wineries dot the
landscape. Overnight in San Francisco.


Day 11: San Francisco - Monterey/Carmel
This morning, head south to Monterey. Take in
the sights, sounds and smells of Monterey at Old
Fisherman’s Wharf. Explore Cannery Row’s historic
waterfront district, John Steinbeck’s inspiration for
his novel of the same name. Visit the quaint area of
Carmel, and enjoy an exhilarating trip along 17-Mile
Drive from Pacific Grove to Pebble Beach. Overnight in
Monterey.


Day 12: Monterey/Carmel - Santa Barbara - Ventura
Continue south along central California’s
scenic Pacific Coast Highway. This twisting, cliffhugging
route starts in Monterey and takes you
through Big Sur where mountains plunge into the
Pacific Ocean. Further south, the road passes Hearst
Castle and ends in Morro Bay. A short distance inland
is the heart of the Central Coast, San Luis Obispo.
Continue south to Ventura passing through Pismo
Beach and Santa Barbara. Overnight in Ventura.


Day 13: Ventura - Malibu - Santa Monica - Los Angeles
Travel south through Oxnard, and the
seaside town of Santa Monica before arriving in Los
Angeles. Overnight in Los Angeles.


Day 14: Los Angeles Departure
Return your rental car at Los Angeles International Airport prior to
your departure.
